It’s a music filled weekend in Fort Worth, check it out!
River and Blues Fest
Panther Island is holding the River and Blues Fest for the second time this weekend. Country and blues music from some pretty well-known artists, food and drinks, and decent weather- what more could you want?
Tickets are $49 single day and go up from there. I don’t know how family-friendly this event is but it’s such a big Fort Worth happening it needed to be included!
AC/DC and Pizza
‘Back in Black,’ a tribute band to hard rock legends AC/DC, are performing Friday Nov 12th at Fort Brewery and Pizza. The event is free from 7:30-9pm. Seating is first come, first served!
Cowtown Western Swing Festival
Did you know Western Swing is the official state music of Texas? Me either. But let’s celebrate with the Cowtown Birthplace of Western Swing Festival! It’s currently sold out, but there is a waiting list. Ticket’s are $30/day and runs Friday and Saturday.
Sundance Square Jazz
More free music in Sundance Square this weekend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. So far, the weather is perfect for downtown jazz outside.
Japanese Gardens Festival
Saturday and Sunday Nov 13-14 the Botanic Gardens is holding their Fall Japanese Festival. There’s Japanese music and dance, sword demonstrations, martial arts, and more from 9am-5pm. Tickets range from free to $6 for kids and $10-12 for adults and seniors. Parking is free.
Tons of live music and festivals ranging from free to ultra pricey, there’s something for just about everyone this weekend. My top pick is the Japanese Festival. Happy weekending!
