Your schedule is probably jam-packed for this Halloween weekend as it is, but if you’re looking for more ways to get the kids sugared up for Oct 29-31, here are our top picks in and around Fort Worth this weekend to achieve just that.
Boo At The Zoo
The Fort Worth Zoo is holding its annual Boo At The Zoo event this weekend. Burn off all the sugar as you walk through the animal exhibits. There will be treat stations set up throughout the zoo. You get six treat coupons included with general admission. More can be purchased ($3 gets you six more tickets).
Pinstripes Bowling Spooktacular
Bring your kids to Pinstripes this Saturday and Sunday dressed up in their costumes to get an extra treat. For parents, enjoy Halloween-themed adult drinks or draft beer and house wine for $1! Admittedly, I’ve never been to Pinstripes but I hear it’s great. Plus, it’s located in my favorite part of Fort Worth- Clearfork.
LEGO Party at Rogue Brick
Friday Oct 29th, Rogue Brick on Hulen is offering free admission all day. It’s not on their website, but fortunately for you, I’m on their mailing list, so I know all the happy haps of this LEGO building wonderland.
Your trick-or-treater will receive a free bag of LEGO if they arrive in costume, and you’ll get a 20% discount on any LEGO set that matches the theme of your outfit!
Friday Night Fall Festival
From 6-8pm on Oct 29, Southwest Community Center of Fort Worth is having their fall festival over in the Wedgewood area near Hulen. They don’t list specific activities, but there’s definitely candy, popcorn, games and bounce houses. What more could you want?
Dia De Los Muertos
Celebrate the Day of the Dead at Artes de la Rosa Cultural Center for the Arts on Saturday Oct 30th. Parade starts at 10am and the festivities continue 12-4pm with face painting, good, dancing, opera, and mariachi. All of this is happening on North Main in the historic northside district.
